Once Upon a Time...

        Four survivors of a global disaster have come together to recover from the devastation caused by several meteors. Without any knowledge of the phenomenon, they form a search party to find out any more information. The sites they visit are empty, but they are able to collect a Netherite Block from a meteor's core.
        Years after the incident, the survivors make themselves comfortable on the now barren world. Sitting on a pedestal, the Netherite Block proudly empowers the people of the small town to continue waiting for an answer. Suddenly, a menacing figure appears, hiding within a small building by the pedestal. The survivors are confused for a moment, but quickly realise that one of the survivors was headed for the pedestal. Lacking any forewarning, only two members are able to defend the historical piece that caused their revitalization.
Taking little to no damage, the rogue survivor ports a full diamond set of armour and weapons, unmatched for the others' fragile iron swords. Before they realise it, the traitor blows up a guard with TNT and steals the Netherite Block. The remaining survivor understands that it is too late, and accepts the demeaning gleam of the diamond sword. What remained was the empty shell of the encasement where the Netherite Block once resided.

      The creation of Metacraft was based on expanding the vanilla experience. This meant not having a small amount of choice plugins, allowing opportunistic players to have a chance in the world.
        Metacraft allows grand sieges, where months worth of work risks burning to the ground. However, even the grandest builds spanning hundreds of blocks can persist with the builder's investment in its claim protection. I hope you are able to find your part in this new world and create lasting friends and memories to last the rest of your life.

By developing the Minecraft server, website, and many other aspects, I hoped that we could instil some good memories for those who chose to participate in the project, whether as a player or a team member.
